Permaculture Design Course

November 5th – November 17th, 2010

Gainesville, Florida

This is a tentative schedule – it will probably change due to weather, teacher availability, and other surprises!

Abundant Edible Landscapes Inc. is proud to announce that they will be hosting Gainesville’s second ever Permaculture Design Course. This 13 day course will take place at Shambhala Gardens, from November 5th to December 17th, 2009. The schedule will include learning the fundamentals of permaculture theory and design, hands on projects, and a field trip. Certification in design is available. This is a great opportunity to meet people with similar interests and to learn how to apply the permaculture principles to our particular region.
The teachers will be Patricia Allison from Earthaven Ecovillage and assistants. The cost for 13 days is $1050 including meals and camping. There is a $100 discount to those that sign up before Sept. 30th.

3 Day Introduction to Permaculture

Abundant Edible Landscapes Inc. will also be offering an Introduction to Permaculture on November 5th, 6th 7th at Shambhala Gardens, near Gainesville, Fl. This part of the course will include Friday evening’s opening circle, Saturday and Sunday. Saturday and Sunday will include lecture, discussion and hands on projects. The cost will be $275.00 with meals provided. A tentative schedule is listed below. We are now offering this 3 day course, because many people have been interested in attending the full 13 day course, but cannot take that amount of time away from work. This introduction will be a great way to learn about the ways permaculture design can create sustainability in our lives and communities.
